He IS Risen

Have you ever wondered why people say on Easter ‘He Is Risen’? English professors probably cringe at the improper English. Why not, ‘He was risen’ or He has risen’ or He rose. Or ‘He had risen’. He had and He has are the proper terms and in scripture in that moment on that day the angel does say He has Risen when Mary asked where is He. But today Jesus IS!! And was and will ever be. It’s an anomaly. Supernatural. Jesus IS & IS Risen. It is because he is alive today! He wasn’t ’was resurrected’ He IS resurrected. It is literally because Jesus came to live a pure life, became the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and rose from death and IS a LIVING sacrifice for our atonement. For Everyone! Not just me; not just for my children or for the people who try to do good. He IS Risen for the murderers, for the ones who despise Him, crucified Him, who don’t believe in Him even today. He died for ALL. Because we ALL have sinned and have all fallen short of the Glory of God. We owe EVERYTHING to Jesus. Period. End of Story. I cannot even describe in words what a personal relationship feels like with Jesus. It’s a peace that passes understanding; an indescribable Joy daily. If you do not know Jesus personally and do not have an intimate personal relationship with Him, I urge you to find a follower, a friend, a colleague, a pastor who teaches biblical teachings and learn about it or kneel right now and ask him into your heart. If you are alive and reading this, It’s not too late. Your life will be changed forever. Thank you JESUS for Easter because He IS Risen INDEED. So we do not have to be separated from God forever. We have an opportunity for everlasting life through Jesus. He IS Risen INDEED.

Matthew 25:5-7 5The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
